WPC stands for Wood-Plastic Composite, an engineered composite material produced through the high-temperature extrusion of wood fibers, a thermoplastic matrix, and functional additives. The key differences between outdoor-grade and indoor-grade WPC wall panels lie in the dosage of weather-resistant additives and the application of a co-extruded surface layer. These proportions determine the balance between the natural texture of wood and the weather resistance of plastic.

From a structural mechanics perspective, a 26mm-thick hollow panel featuring an optimized internal rib layout can achieve a flexural strength exceeding 25 MPa and a modulus of elasticity of at least 2200 MPa.
