Edging for composite decking installation
1. The span of fixing screws is 300 mm (center to center) to prevent warping or buckling. All edging need to use two screw 1” 1/2 (38.1 mm) away from the ends.
2. Pre-drill the holes for the edging. The edging for composite decking should be drilled with bigger holes or routed to allow for expansion and contraction and fixed either at either end or in the middle. When fixing the bigger holes, it is recommended to use washers.
3. The edging will be installed into the block wood and through the joist.
